During our canoe trip, we saw a bald eagle a few times. I managed to get the camera out in time to catch a photo of it catching a fish. The second photo is just a cropped version of the first photo, with slight sharpening.

For instance, the second and fourth pictures were taken in what I believe is called "comic book" style. I was playing around with this camera a year ago, so here are some examples of the different styles. All are of a person lounging on a futon.

At the Boston Children's Museum there is a three story rope enclosed climbing area, for all kids under a certain size. Our friends' 2.5 year old daughter couldn't get enough of it this past February (she went in 3 times), despite how she looks in the first photo.

Washed Away in Yellowstone

When visiting the Petrified Forest National Park, there were the remnants of an ancient village. On some of the rock below it where pictographs from thousands of years ago. They were relatively hard to pick out due to their distance away as well as their small size.

I just started this blog, but it will be a few weeks before it is up and running. I wanted to make sure I didn't loose the name before I started.

This blog will have pictures of places I've enjoyed visiting, as well as pictures I've enjoyed taking. The main purpose will be the pictures, but all pictures will come with an explanation as well.
